For three generations, my husband’s family has farmed these fields here in Llangollen. They are organic dairy farmers, and the countryside around us is a huge part of everyday life.
We also enjoy caravan and camping breaks ourselves — the fresh air, exploring new places, and having the whole family together. That’s why we’ve worked hard to create the kind of campsite we’d want to stay at: welcoming, peaceful, and surrounded by nature.
We take looking after the land seriously, and we do our best to care for it and share it responsibly with our guests. The area is recognised for its natural importance, with protected status as both a Special Area of Conservation and an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty — and once you arrive, you’ll see why.

Reconnect With Nature
Llandyn Holiday Park is a place to stay for short breaks outdoors in your motorhome, caravan or tent. Ran by husband and wife team Stephen and Cathryn you will also see mum and dad too who are very much in the picture of running the farm and looking after the land. We are proud to say we are native Welsh speakers but of course we are bilingual, see our ‘How to speak Welsh guide’ if you’re interested in learning a few words.
Stephen’s Grandfather bought Llandyn Hall and Farm in the 70’s and the whole family have worked on the land ever since. Stephen’s passion is in organic dairy farming and his herd of cows produce natural milk. Soon to be installed onsite will be a milk-vending machine for guests to enjoy fresh organic milk straight from the farm.
Since a boy Stephen has been a keen enthusiast of Welsh Mountain Ponies and these exquisite creatures can be seen not far from the campsite.
Cathryn was a member of the local fell runner club and a keen rower but motherhood has put that on hold for the mean time. Cathryn has ran everywhere locally and knows all the land around the campsite. If you’re looking for recommendations for spectacular mountain walks/runs, Cathryn is your lady.
