EV Charging Point Llangollen

The first electric vehicle charging point in Llangollen

Rev up your engines, Llangollen! The town has just welcomed its first-ever electric vehicle (EV) chargnow ready to useady to use right now.

Electric car owners in Llangollen have had to trek to neighboring towns to charge up their vehicles. But that’s all about to change thanks to this new addition to Llandyn Holiday Park.

Whether you’re arriving for a holiday or just popping into Llangollen for a quick visit, you can now top up your EV’s battery while you’re here. You’ll need to download the Charge Assist App to be able to recharge and currently it is £1 per session and 65p per unit of electricity. You can pay by Apple Pay and Mastercard.

We have located the charging point conveniently next to the Nature reserve and near the Milk Hut. So you can take a stroll with a milkshake in hand while charging up. It’s easy to find us, anyone traveling into Llangollen on A539, look out for the park signs and turn in.

This is a significant milestone for Llangollen and a clear sign that the town is keeping up to speed (excuse the pun) and moving in the right direction regarding sustainable transportation. With more and more people switching to electric cars every day, having a reliable and accessible charging infrastructure is crucial.

But this isn’t just about practicality – it’s about celebrating the future of clean energy with the bonus of being able to drink organic milk from the cows who live across the field whilst you are waiting.

The installation of this charging point is another testament to Llandyn’s commitment to helping make Llangollen a greener, cleaner, and more sustainable place to live and visit.
