About Us

Croeso! Welcome!

To Llangollen and our brand new holiday park! We’re new and are opening this year 2021 but don’t worry we are no strangers to motorhome touring and camping. Caravan and camping clubs have held rallies at this site for numerous years.

For three generations my husbands family have farmed these special lands you see on the website pictures.  We are firstly, by vocation, organic dairy farmers.

We are like you and enjoy a caravan holiday. We love the social aspect of caravanning, exploring and having the whole family with us. We have aimed to create a camp site which we would enjoy staying at.

We both are very aware that we are only custodians of the land, we believe it is our job to maintain and protect the countryside and also to share it. We invite you to experience what we see every day because it is by far one of the most beautiful places on earth.

The land is recognised as a special area of conservation, and holds a protected status called the Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty for a very good reason.

I hope you enjoy your stay.

Reconnect with nature

Llandyn Holiday Park is a place to stay for short breaks outdoors in your motorhome, caravan or tent. Ran by husband and wife team Stephen and Cathryn you will also see mum and dad too who are very much in the picture of running the farm and looking after the land. We are proud to say we are native Welsh speakers but of course we are bilingual, see our ‘How to speak Welsh guide’ if you’re interested in learning a few words.

Stephen’s Grandfather bought Llandyn Hall and Farm in the 70’s and the whole family have worked on the land ever since.

Stephen’s passion is in organic dairy farming and his herd of cows produce natural milk. Soon to be installed onsite will be a milk-vending machine  for guests to enjoy fresh organic milk straight from the farm.

Since a boy Stephen has been a keen enthusiast of Welsh Mountain Ponies and these exquisite creatures can be seen not far from the campsite.

Cathryn was a member of the local fell runner club and a keen rower but motherhood has put that on hold for the mean time. Cathryn has ran everywhere locally and knows all the land around the campsite. If you’re looking for recommendations for spectacular mountain walks/runs, Cathryn is your lady.

When staying with us you will hear the birds in the trees, the river flowing. You will smell the the grasslands and the earth beneath you, and at night the dark skies provide a clear view of the stars. But, surprisingly we are really close to civilization and in walking distance of Llangollen’s shops and restaurants.

You’ll find us on the edge of Llangollen Town. Use the A5 to get to us, we are next to the Wild Park or Pocket Park as it’s know locally.
