Llandyn Caravan & Camping is set on our family farm on the banks of the River Dee, just outside Llangollen.
The farm has been in Stephen’s family for three generations and remains a working organic dairy farm today. Over the years, part of the land has developed into the campsite you see today, offering a peaceful base for exploring Llangollen and the surrounding Dee Valley.
A Special Part of North Wales
We’re fortunate to be surrounded by some of the best countryside North Wales has to offer. The River Dee runs alongside the campsite, while Llangollen, the canal and miles of walking routes are all within easy reach.
The landscape around Llandyn is nationally and internationally recognised for its importance, including the Clwydian Range and Dee Valley National Landscape and the River Dee Special Area of Conservation.
We take our responsibility for looking after this setting seriously and aim to run the campsite in a way that allows people to enjoy it while respecting the land, river and wildlife around us.
Part of a Working Family Farm
Farming remains an important part of life at Llandyn. Stephen’s family have farmed here since his grandfather bought Llandyn Hall and Farm in the 1970s, and today the farm is home to an organic dairy herd.
Guests can buy fresh organic milk from our on-site milk vending machine, supplied directly from the farm.
